Aberdeen AM appoints Regional Sales Manager

Aberdeen Asset Management has appointed Luke Mandekic as regional sales manager, based in Melbourne. In the new role, Mandekic will have responsibility for representing Aberdeen's range of equities, fixed income and multi-asset funds to the wholesale market.

Mandekic joins Aberdeen from AMP's advice research team, where he was a model portfolio manager. He previously held investment analyst and research roles at AXA.

Commenting on the appointment, Stuart James, head of distribution at Aberdeen Asset Management, said: "Luke is an experienced industry professional with a strong understanding of investments and clients' needs. Thanks to his previous roles, he joins Aberdeen with a good working knowledge of our fund range, which is a distinct advantage. His background in investment research and portfolio construction will allow him to add real value to our client base."
