US firm hires a local exec to run new office

Pretium Partners has made two senior hires in Asia one of whom is based in the real estate and corporate credit firm's newly opened local office.

With these hires, Pretium is furthering its goal of providing more personalised, on-the-ground support in dynamic markets.

Craig Matthew joins Pretium from Asia Principal Capital and Morpheus Ventures, where he served as a director of the private market investor relations group.

Before that, he was director of institutional relationships at Capital International. where he played an active role in establishing its first office in Australia.

Before that, he served in a variety of business development roles at Alliance Bernstein where he spent 19 years. 
Matthew is an accredited superannuation trustee director.

The second recruit Jayme Hanaks is a managing director for Asia.

Han most recently served as an executive director, of corporate finance for Jones Lang Lasalle.

Before that, she ran alternatives at Tongyang Life Insurance, Korea's fifth largest life insurer, and, was hired as one of the founding members of the alternatives business - and its first dedicated real assets specialist - for the National Pension Service
