Paul Spiteri has resigned from his position as interim chief information and technology officer at Westpac to take up a senior executive role at Woolworths.
Vinita Salale leaves Towers Watson for UK post with Janus Capital
Former investment consultant, Vinita Salale has confirmed her departure from Towers Watson to take up a new position in the UK with Janus Capital Group as an institutional sales director. Salale joined Towers Watson in 2009 and before that was an analyst at Commonwealth Private Bank.
Bennelong appoints Senior Investment Analyst
Bennelong Long Short Equity Management (BLSEM) has appointed Steven Lambeth as a senior investment analyst. Lambeth joins from JCP Investment Partners, where he was senior investment analyst and responsible for company research and valuation.
Certitude appoints Northern Regional Manager
Certitude Global Investments has appointed Michael Akele to the newly created role of Northern regional manager (NSW/QLD) and New Zealand. Akele was previously Certitude's state manager of global solutions for New South Wales, since commencing with the firm in 2010.
New board member for VicSuper
VicSuper has appointed Colin Long as a new member to its board. Long currently holds positions with the National Tertiary Education Union as Victorian division secretary and as president of the Victorian Trades Hall Council.
New deputy chair at VicSuper
VicSuper has announced its new board for 2014/15 with Bill Lyons appointed to the position of deputy chair. Lyons has been a director with VicSuper since 2005 and was formerly a director of ESSSuper for over 10 years.
Chair steps down at VicSuper
After serving as chair of VicSuper since 2009, Barbra Norris has stepped down from the role. Norris remain a director of the fund while former deputy Bruce Hartnett has stepped into the role of chair.
New Chair at VicSuper
Changes to the board of VicSuper for 2014/15 have seen Bruce Hartnett take over as chair. Hartnett has been a director at VicSuper since 2004, and has been deputy chair since 2009. He will replace Barbra Norris who will stay on as a director.
Executive Manager Group Credit departs Suncorp
Gordon Wong has departed from his role as the executive manager of group credit at Suncorp. Wong joined Suncorp in 2005 and has worked in several credit specialist roles during that time. He was previously a fixed income fund manager at St George.
Bravura adds Global Product Development role
Bravura Solutions has appointed its current COO for EMEA wealth management John Waddy to a new product development role. Waddy will oversee global software research and development for Sonata, the company's wealth management and life insurance solution.
